How to: Reroute and Redraw Connections on Application Diagrams
In Application Designer, you can redraw a connection using the shortest line possible and optimally repositioning associated endpoints. You can also manually or automatically reroute a connection without repositioning its endpoints.
Note
Automatic rerouting is available only after manually rerouting a connection.
To redraw a connection on the application diagram
Select the connection line you want to redraw.
On the Diagram menu, choose Redraw Connection.
The connection line redraws and optimally repositions its endpoints.
Tip
You can also right-click the connection line and choose Redraw Connection.
To reroute a connection on the application diagram
Select the connection line you want to reroute.
On the Diagram menu, choose Reroute Connection.
Drag the connection line to the location on the diagram that you want.
To automatically reroute the line after manually rerouting it, select the connection line and choose Reroute Connection from the Diagram menu.
The connection line reroutes without repositioning its endpoints.
Tip
You can also right-click the connection line and choose Reroute Connection.
