Debug Pane, Project Designer

Visual Studio 2008

Provides user input for specifying command-line arguments, working directory, and startup project.

To open the Project Designer, right-click <Projectname> in Solution Explorer, and then click Properties.

Start project

Specifies that the current project is the startup project.

Start external program

When the current project is not specified as the startup project, specifies the external program that serves as the startup action instead.

Command line arguments

Specifies command-line arguments.

There are two dropdown lists.

  • Configuration

  • Platform

Configuration drop-down list

Displays a list of other available configurations that you can select, such as Debug and Release.

Platform drop-down list

Displays a list of available platforms, such as Active (Any CPU).
