Registration Information (SQL Server Express)
The Registration Information page of the Microsoft SQL Server Installation Wizard requests identification information to register your copy of SQL Server.
Options

Name |
Enter the name of a user responsible for administering the server that is running SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (SQL Server Express). A user name is required to continue setup. |
Company |
Enter the name of your company. For a personal copy of the product, you can provide your name again. Information for this field is optional. |
Note
Because SQL Server Express is a free download, there is no Product Key text box on the Registration Information page.
Hide Advanced Configuration
At the bottom of the Registration Information page, there is a Hide Advanced Configuration Options check box. If this check box is selected, the following setup pages do not appear:
- Instance Name
- Service Account
- Collation Settings
- User Instances
