Collection.CopyTo Method

Copies the entire Collection to a compatible one-dimensional Array, starting at the specified index of the target array.

The one-dimensional Array that is the destination of the elements copied from Collection. The Array must have zero-based indexing.


The zero-based index in array at which copying begins.

array is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).


index is less than zero.


index is equal to or greater than the length of array.


The number of elements in the source Collection is greater than the available space from index to the end of the destination array.

This method uses System.Array.Copy to copy the elements.

The elements are copied to the Array in the same order in which the enumerator iterates through the Collection.

This method is an O(n) operation, where n is Count.
