DeployManifest.Product Property

Gets or sets the name of the application.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A string that indicates the name of the application.

Remarks

If no value is specified for this property, the name is inferred from the identity of the generated manifest. This name is used for the shortcut name on the Start menu and is part of the name that appears in Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
