A SessionEnding event is raised when the user is trying to log off or shut the system down.
This SessionEnding event can sometimes be canceled. Setting the Cancel property of a to false will request that the session continue instead of ending. Making such a request provides no guarantee that the session will not end.
The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: MayLeakOnAbort. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser). For more information, see the HostProtectionAttribute class or SQL Server Programming and Host Protection Attributes.
