Sets the extension data for a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) service reference.

Parameters

name
Type: System::String^

A String that contains the file name.

content
Type: array<System::Byte>^

A Byte array that contains the extension data.

Extension data lets you associate additional properties with a reference group as name/value pairs. The information is stored in a separate file and added to the Extensions element in the .svcmap file.

The name parameter should be a valid file name (without a path). The binary data is transparent to the reference group.
