Specifies the UI context for design mode.
Assemblies: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.12.0 (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.12.0.dll)
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.14.0 (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.14.0.dll)
A successful call to GetCmdUIContextCookie with UICONTEXT_DesignMode as the first parameter returns the GUID value of the command UI context associated with this specific UI state.
The new UI context (which in this case is UICONTEXT_DesignMode) may be retrieved with a call to OnCmdUIContextChanged.
This method is not valid (will return E_FAIL) when the IDE is in Command Line Mode.
UICONTEXT_DesignMode is active when the Visual Studio is in design mode (as opposed to, say, debugging mode), regardless of the presence of specific packages
