Parameters

pTipWindow
Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextManager.Interop::IVsTipWindow^

[in] Pointer to IVsTipWindow interface.

dwFlags
Type: System::UInt32

[in] Tip window options. For a list of dwFlags values, see TipWindowFlags interface.

Return Value

Type: System::Int32

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

This method will fail if you pass in a class that does not implement either IVsTextTipWindow2 or IVsMethodTipWindow3. Custom Win32 owner-drawn popups are no longer allowed.
