WebTestPlugin.PreTransaction Method (Object, PreTransactionEventArgs)

When overridden in a derived class, represents the method that will handle the event associated with the start of a transaction that is defined in the Web performance test.

Namespace:   Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.WebTesting
Assembly:  Microsoft.VisualStudio.QualityTools.WebTestFramework (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.QualityTools.WebTestFramework.dll)

public virtual void PreTransaction(
	object sender,
	PreTransactionEventArgs e

Type: System.Object

The source of the event.

Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.WebTesting.PreTransactionEventArgs

A PreTransactionEventArgs that contains the event data.

The PreTransaction callback is called just before a transaction defined in the Web performance test is started.

Because this method is virtual, the author of the WebTestPlugin can decide whether to implement it. If it is not implemented, the base class implementation is called, but it does nothing other than to return immediately.
