IVsTaskItem::Category Method (array<VSTASKCATEGORY>^)

Returns the category of a task item.

Syntax

int Category(
	array<VSTASKCATEGORY>^ pCat
)

pCat: Type: array<Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop::VSTASKCATEGORY>^
[out, retval] Category of the task item. For a list of values, see VSTASKCATEGORY.

Type: System::Int32

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

   [out, retval] VSTASKCATEGORY *pCat
);

The category is not shown to the user, but is used for filtering and sorting when switching between different views of the task list.
