IVsLibrary::UpdateCounter Method (UInt32)

Returns the current change counter for the library and is used to indicate that the library contents have changed.

Parameters

pCurUpdate: Type: System::UInt32
[out] Pointer to a current update counter.

Return Value

Type: System::Int32

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

);

Increment pCurUpdate within code any time an update is made to a library. The environment checks this value to determine if it is necessary to re-query a library object.
