The exception that is thrown when DeserializeReplicaMetadata is called and the specified expected provider compatibility version does not match the provider version stored in the serialized metadata.

Remarks

This exception is not thrown when an IProviderUpgradeCallback object is provided to DeserializeReplicaMetadata. In this case, IProviderUpgradeCallback methods are called and the metadata store is upgraded to the new schema specified by the provider.
