PhysicalPartitionCollection Class
The PhysicalPartitionCollection class represents a collection of PhysicalPartition objects that represent all the physical partitions that are defined on an object.
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo (in Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo.dll)
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::AbstractCollectionBase
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::SmoCollectionBase
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::SortedListCollectionBase
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::PartitionNumberedObjectCollectionBase
Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::PhysicalPartitionCollection
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Count | Gets the number of objects in the referenced collection.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
![]() | IsSynchronized | Gets the Boolean property value that specifies whether access to the collection is synchronized and therefore thread-safe.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
![]() | Item[Int32] | Gets a PhysicalPartition object in the collection by index number. |
![]() | Parent | Gets the SqlSmoObject object that is the parent of the PhysicalPartitionCollection object. |
![]() | SyncRoot | Gets an object that can be used to synchronize access to the collection.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Add(PhysicalPartition^) | Adds a PhysicalPartition object to the PhysicalPartitionCollection collection. |
![]() | AddExisting(SqlSmoObject^) | Adds an object to the collection.(Inherited from AbstractCollectionBase.) |
![]() | Contains(Int32) | Determines whether the specified partition number is present in the collection.(Inherited from PartitionNumberedObjectCollectionBase.) |
![]() | CopyTo(array<PhysicalPartition^>^) | Copies the collection objects to a one-dimensional array. |
![]() | CopyTo(array<PhysicalPartition^>^, Int32) | Copies the collection objects to a one-dimensional array starting at the specified index value. |
![]() | CopyTo(array<PhysicalPartition^>^, Int32, Int32) | Copies the collection objects to a one-dimensional array, starting and ending with the specified partition numbers. |
![]() | Equals(Object^) | (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetEnumerator() | Returns an IEnumerator interface that allows you to iterate through the objects in the collection. (Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
![]() | GetHashCode() | (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetType() | (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | Refresh() | Refreshes the referenced collection.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
![]() | Refresh(Boolean) | Refreshes the referenced collection with the option to refresh child objects of the referenced collection.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
![]() | Remove(Int32) | Removes a PhysicalPartition that has the specified partition number from the collection. |
![]() | Remove(PhysicalPartition^) | Removes the specified PhysicalPartition from the collection. |
![]() | ToString() | (Inherited from Object.) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | initialized | This value supports the SMO infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.(Inherited from AbstractCollectionBase.) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() ![]() | ICollection::CopyTo(Array^, Int32) | Copies the elements from an instance to an array beginning at the index indicated.(Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.) |
A PhysicalPartitionCollection object can be used to gain access to a set of physical partitions. You can use the M:Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.PhysicalPartitionCollection.Item(System.Int32) property to return a specific PhysicalPartition object.
