DatabaseOptions.AnsiNullsEnabled Property

Gets or sets a Boolean property value that specifies whether the ANSI_NULLS_ENABLED database option is active or not.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo (in microsoft.sqlserver.smo.dll)

public bool AnsiNullsEnabled { get; set; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_AnsiNullsEnabled ()

/** @property */
public void set_AnsiNullsEnabled (boolean value)

public function get AnsiNullsEnabled () : boolean

public function set AnsiNullsEnabled (value : boolean)

Property Value

A Boolean value that specifies whether the ANSI_NULLS_ENABLED database option is active or not. If True, comparisons to null values equate to false. If False (default), comparisons to null values equate to true.

This property specifies whether any comparison to a null value equates to a NULL value. For example, A SELECT statement using WHERE column_name <> NULL returns zero rows even if there are non-null values in column_name

This option can also be changed using the Transact-SQL ALTER DATABASE statement.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
