Tasks create breakpoints by calling the CreateBreakpointTarget method of the and providing an ID and description of the breakpoint as parameters to the method. When a task reaches the point in its code that contains the breakpoint, it evaluates the breakpoint to see if it should suspend execution. Execution is suspended if the IsBreakpointTargetEnabled is true. If true, the task notifies the run-time engine by raising the OnBreakpointHit event. For information about custom breakpoints, see Adding Support for Debugging in a Custom Task.
