ScheduledItem.IsScheduledItem Method

Static method to confirm that a SPListItem item is a valid instance of the ScheduledItem class.

Parameters

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
Set to True if the SPListItem is a ScheduledItem; otherwise, set to False.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
[System.ArgumentNullException]

The sourceListItem parameter cannot be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

Confirms that the SPListItem is a member of a document library that supports scheduling, and that it has start and end dates, which are required for scheduling.

Examples

This sample sets a start and end date for a ScheduledItem object and schedules the item so that it is published when the start date is reached and it is unpublished when the end date is reached.

Before compiling and running this sample, verify that the SPListItem is a list item in a document library that supports scheduling.
