SocialFeedManager.GetFeed method

Gets a feed of activity by the current user, and optionally by followed people and content or by the user's organization.

The feed type to retrieve.

Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Social.SocialFeedOptions

Feed retrieval options such as date range and sort order.

Type: Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ClientResult<SocialFeed>
The requested feed based on the specified parameters.

When you retrieve a feed for the current user, you specify a feed type. The feed type that you request specifies whether to include activity from followed people and content or from the user's whole organization. If a thread contains more than two replies, the server returns a digest of the thread that contains only the two most recent replies. (Thread digests have the IsDigest thread attribute applied.) If you want to get all the replies in a thread, call the GetFullThread method and pass in the ID of the thread or root post.
