In Windows SharePoint Services 2.0, SPGlobalConfig represented configuration settings that apply throughout the deployment and is maintained for backward compatibility.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
