NamespaceManager.GetVersionInfo Method

Retrieves a string of the format "YYYY-MM" that indicates the maximum supported protocol version that the server or service can handle.

Namespace:  Microsoft.ServiceBus
Assembly:  Microsoft.ServiceBus (in Microsoft.ServiceBus.dll)

public string GetVersionInfo()

Return Value

Type: System.String
A string that indicates the maximum supported protocol version that the server or service can handle.

You can make a call in a corresponding REST/HTTP format:

Endpoint: https:<your namespace uri format>/$protocol-version
Header Name: X-PROCESS-AT
Header Value: servicebus
Method supported: GET

If you send a web request to the above endpoint using GET method with an X-Process-At header of "servicebus" then the server/service will return a response with the maximum protocol version embedded in the response's header:

Header Name: MaxProtocolVersion
Header Value: protocol version string of the form: YYYY-MM
