ExternalStorageFolder.GetFoldersAsync Method

Gets a list of the top-level sub-folders of the current folder.

Public Function GetFoldersAsync As Task(Of IEnumerable(Of ExternalStorageFolder))
public Task<IEnumerable<ExternalStorageFolder>> GetFoldersAsync()

Return Value

Type: System.Threading.Tasks..::.Task<(Of <(IEnumerable<(Of <(ExternalStorageFolder>)>)>)>)
Returns a list of ExternalStorageFolder objects that represent the top-level sub-folders of the current folder.

Remarks

Your app must register for a file association in the app manifest file to declare what file types (extensions) can be read from the SD card. For more info, see Auto-launching apps using file and URI associations for Windows Phone 8.
