NameResolutionResult.AsyncState Property

Gets a user-defined object that contains information about the operation.

Property Value

Type: System..::.Object
The user-defined object.

Remarks

The user passes the AsyncState object to the ResolveHostNameAsync method in the context parameter. The object is stored internally and then passed back to methods invoked by NameResolutionCallback delegates when the asynchronous operation completes.
