This interface defines a callback function implemented by an UCC API application. The UCC API calls the callback function to determine whether a client is interested in handling an incoming session with a specified content type and description. The session is deemed an application session if the client wants to handle it. (The pIsApplicationSession parameter returns a TRUE value.) In this case, the server ignores further processing of the session. The client should set the pIsApplicationSession parameter to FALSE if it does not want to handle the session. The server proceeds processing the session. The server ignores the session if it does not recognized the session. An application registers the callback function with the API when creating an application session.
