Signs the user into the application's context.

Script:  http://js.live.net/4.1/loader.js
Feature:  Microsoft.Live.Services
Namespace:  Microsoft.Live.Services

instance.waitForSignIn(callback);

Parameters

callback
Type: SignInCompleted

The callback that is invoked after the user is signed in.

Implements

IDataContextWaitForsignIn(SignInCompleted)

The waitForSignIn method is used to define code that runs after sign-in is complete. You can use the waitForSignIn method when you don't know how sign-in will occur (for example, with the API or the SignIn control), or when the sign-in callback code is defined separately from the sign-in code (for example, in another library).

The following code example demonstrates how to use the waitForSignIn method.

    dataContext.waitForsignIn(function(signInCompletedEventArgs) {
        if (signInCompletedEventArgs.get_resultCode() !== Microsoft.Live.AsyncResultCode.success) {
            alert("Sign in failed.");
        }
        else {
            alert("Signed in.");
        }
    });
