TextInputPanel.InputAreaChanging Event

Occurs when the input area is about to change.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Ink.TextInput
Assembly:  Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)

public event EventHandler<InputAreaChangeEventArgs> InputAreaChanging

The following two examples show how to use InputAreaChanging.

The first example attaches an InputAreaChanging event handler, tip_InputAreaChanging, to the TextInputPanel object, tip.

tip.InputAreaChanging += new EventHandler<InputAreaChangeEventArgs>(tip_InputAreaChanging);

The second example defines an event handler for the InputAreaChanging event where the OldArea value is used to set the TextBox.Text property of a TextBox, outputTextBox.

void tip_InputAreaChanging(object sender, InputAreaChangeEventArgs e)
    outputTextBox.Text += "Input Area Changing from " + e.OldArea + Environment.NewLine;
