The following two examples show how to use InPlaceStateChanged.

The first example attaches an InPlaceStateChanged event handler, tip_InPlaceStateChanged, to the TextInputPanel object, tip.

AddHandler tip.InPlaceStateChanged, AddressOf tip_InPlaceStateChanged

The second example defines an event handler for the InPlaceStateChanged event where the NewState value is used to set the TextBox.Text property of a TextBox, outputTextBox.

Sub tip_InPlaceStateChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As InPlaceStateChangeEventArgs)
    outputTextBox.Text += "In Place State Changed to " + e.NewState.ToString() + Environment.NewLine
