TextInputPanel.InPlaceSizeChanging Event

Occurs when the in-place Input Panel size is about to change due to user resizing, auto growth or an input area change.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Ink.TextInput
Assembly:  Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)

'Declaration
Public Event InPlaceSizeChanging As EventHandler(Of InPlaceSizeChangeEventArgs)
'Usage
Dim instance As TextInputPanel
Dim handler As EventHandler(Of InPlaceSizeChangeEventArgs)

AddHandler instance.InPlaceSizeChanging, handler

The following two examples show how to use InPlaceSizeChanging.

The first example attaches an InPlaceSizeChanging event handler, tip_InPlaceSizeChanging, to the TextInputPanel object, tip.

AddHandler tip.InPlaceSizeChanging, AddressOf tip_InPlaceSizeChanging

The second example defines an event handler for the InPlaceSizeChanging event where the values contained in the InPlaceSizeChangeEventArgs object are used to set the TextBox.Text property of a TextBox, outputTextBox.

Sub tip_InPlaceSizeChanging(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As InPlaceSizeChangeEventArgs)
    outputTextBox.Text += "Old In Place Size is " + e.OldSize.Width.ToString() + "x" + e.OldSize.Height.ToString() + Environment.NewLine
End Sub
