ContextNode.GetPropertyData Method

Returns application-specific data that was added with the specified identifier.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Ink
Assembly:  Microsoft.Ink.Analysis (in Microsoft.Ink.Analysis.dll)

public Object GetPropertyData(
	Guid propertyDataId
)

Parameters

propertyDataId
Type: System.Guid

The identifier for the data.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The application-specific data that was added with the specified identifier.

In addition to application-specific data, you can also use this method to get internal data stored with the identifiers described by the PropertyGuidsForAnalysisHints and PropertyGuidsForContextNodes classes.

This example looks for a property that was added with the Guid, timeStampGuid. It then puts the value into the Text property of a Label, timeStampLabel.

					if (inkWord.ContainsPropertyData(this.timeStampGuid))
					{
						DateTime timeStamp =
							(DateTime)inkWord.GetPropertyData(this.timeStampGuid);
						timeStampLabel.Text = timeStamp.ToShortTimeString();
					}
