Scope.EncryptingCredentials Property

[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. Gets or sets the encrypting credentials for the relying party.

Property Value

An EncryptingCredentials that represents the encrypting credentials to be used for the relying party.

If the TokenEncryptionRequired property is true, the credentials are used to encrypt issued security tokens. If the SymmetricKeyEncryptionRequired property is true, the credentials are used to encrypt symmetric keys issued with security tokens.


Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
