A client application that communicates with the service through the BrokerClient class specific to Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 should catch this failure directly.

A client application that communicates with the service by using the method that was available in Windows HPC Server 2008 of directly using the client proxy should catch a FaultException with a type parameter of AuthenticationFailure. Also, you must define a fault contract in your client side service contract by using the following attribute:

[FaultContract(typeof(AuthenticationFailure), Action = AuthenticationFailure.Action)]

Platform Note: This class was introduced in Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 and is not supported in earlier versions.
