Gets whether the node is available to run jobs, rather than unavailable because of user activity or the availability policy.

Property Value

A value from the NodeAvailability enumeration that indicates whether the node is available to run jobs, rather than unavailable because of user activity or the availability policy.

This property is primarily used to indicate if workstation nodes are available to run jobs, or unavailable because a user is active on the workstation or because of settings in the availability policy.

If an availability policy is not configured for the node, the value of the Availability property is AlwaysOn.

Platform Note: This property was introduced in Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and is not supported in previous versions.
