Remarks

This attribute allows users to declare extensions through code. If the default property is set to rue, this extension will be the default extension for the extension interface. If other extensions are defined for the same extension interface, this default extension will not be loaded. If all multiple extensions loaded for the same extension interface are declared as default extensions, Visual Studio will pick the one that is most database schema provider (DSP)-specific. If all the extensions are defined as default and are compatible with the same DSP, no extensions will be loaded.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
