PropertyExtensionContext Class

Provides file and project information to Visual Studio extensions that add custom properties to objects visible in the Entity Data Model Designer or the Model Browser.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Data.Entity.Design.Extensibility
Assembly:  Microsoft.Data.Entity.Design.Extensibility (in Microsoft.Data.Entity.Design.Extensibility.dll)

public abstract class PropertyExtensionContext : ExtensionContext

In a Visual Studio extension, the PropertyExtensionContext class is used when you want to add custom properties to objects that are visible in the Entity Data Model Designer or the Model Browser (such as entity types or associations). An instance of PropertyExtensionContext is passed to the CreateProperty() method, which adds custom properties to selected objects and makes the properties visible in the Visual StudioProperties window.
