Merge_Ignore Initialization Variable
Specifies that Visual SourceSafe should ignore white space characters when merging files. If you do not want these characters to be ignored, leave the setting for this variable blank.
Syntax
Merge_Ignore = w
Remarks
You can set this variable in your Ss.ini file directly or in Visual SourceSafe Explorer. In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, use the SourceSafe Options dialog box, Difference tab. Select the Ignore white space differences when merging files check box to set this variable to "w".
