Public Methods

public methodAppend

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Appends the string representation of a specified object to the end of this instance.
public methodAppendFormat

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Appends a formatted string, which contains zero or more format specifications, to this instance. Each format specification is replaced by the string representation of a corresponding object argument.
public methodEnsureCapacity Ensures that the capacity of this instance of StringBuilder is at least the specified value.
public methodEquals

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Returns a value indicating whether this instance is equal to a specified object.
public methodGetHashCode (inherited from Object)

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
public methodGetType (inherited from Object)

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Gets the Type of the current instance.
public methodInsert

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Inserts the string representation of a specified object into this instance at a specified character position.

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Removes the specified range of characters from this instance.
public methodReplace

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Replaces all occurrences of a specified character or string in this instance with another specified character or string.
public methodToString

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overloaded. Overridden. Converts a StringBuilder to a String.

Protected Methods

protected methodFinalize (inherited from Object)

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Overridden. Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection.

In C# and C++, finalizers are expressed using destructor syntax.

protected methodMemberwiseClone (inherited from Object)

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.

Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
