EnableVolumeControlWhileLocked (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the EnableVolumeControlWhileLocked setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether volume controls are available when the device is locked.

Set to true to enable the user to change the volume when the device is locked; otherwise, set to false. The default value is true.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.

The following example shows how to make the volume controls unavailable when the device is locked.
