DoNotCleanTaskBar (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Embedded Core modules and any examples for the DoNotCleanTaskBar setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to retain deskbands in the taskbar when you run the Sysprep command.

Set to true to retain them; otherwise, set to false. A deskband is a customized toolbar that can be added to the taskbar and that contains shortcuts to frequently performed tasks.

Modules

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.

XML Examples

The following XML example specifies that deskbands are retained.
