Review the media and requirements sections of the Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) technical documentation library.
Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) is comprised of both Windows Embedded 8 Standard Toolkit (Standard 8 Toolkit), a toolset to be installed on a development computer and Standard 8, the actual embedded operating system to be installed on devices.
