DisableAccelerators (Standard 8 Module Reference)

7/8/2014

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the DisableAccelerators setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to disable all accelerators in Internet Explorer.

Set to true to disable accelerators; otherwise set to false. The default value is false.

Accelerators are menu items in Internet Explorer that help automate common browser-related tasks. In Internet Explorer, if you right-click on text or select text with the pointer, a shortcut menu appears that includes Accelerators in the list of items. For example, if you select an address, you can use an accelerator to show a map of that address.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.
