Review the settings, dependencies and any notes for the SystemMaintenanceService section of the Embedded Core module in the Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8) module catalog.
These settings configure Microsoft ReadyBoost flash storage devices that are used as supplemental memory caches. You typically configure devices that have been integrated with the computer, such as an internal flash device or a solid-state drive (SSD).
This setting can improve system responsiveness, especially on systems with less RAM or slower performance.
CacheList can contain up to eight Cache settings that represent a single ReadyBoost cache on the computer that you configure. If you add more than eight Cache values, only the first eight caches, in alphabetical order of their CacheID, will be recognized.
