DisableWelcomePage (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the DisableWelcomePage setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to skip the welcome page that introduces users to the browser and its feature when the user opens Internet Explorer for the first time.

Set to true to skip the welcome page and display an empty page in the browser; otherwise set to false. The default value is true.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.
