The registry settings described in this section apply to the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IP version 6 (DHCPv6) client. For more information about DHCPv6, see RFC 3315. The parameters for DHCPv6 are located under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Tcpip6\Parms key.
