FileOpenPicker.PickSingleFileAsync(String) method

Shows the file picker so that the user can pick one file.

Syntax


public:
IAsyncOperation<StorageFile>^ PickSingleFileAsync(
  String^ pickerOperationId
)

Parameters

pickerOperationId

Type: String

This argument is ignored and has no effect.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<StorageFile>

When the call to this method completes successfully, it returns a StorageFile object that represents the file that the user picked.

Remarks

Note  Windows Store apps only. This signature isn't supported. Use PickSingleFileAsync instead.

Note  Windows Phone Store apps only. This signature isn't supported. Use PickSingleFileAndContinue instead.
