In-app product description
This topic applies to the earlier Windows Phone Dev Center dashboard and not the new unified Dev Center dashboard. Since we are still in the process of migrating all developer accounts, the info here may not apply if your account has already been migrated to the new dashboard. For more info, see Using the unified Dev Center dashboard.
The second and final step in submitting your in-app product into Windows Phone Dev Center is to provide the title and tile for users to see. If you selected multiple languages in In-app product properties, and you’d like to include a description for your in-app product, you’ll need to complete this step for each language selected.
Note: You can use in-app products only in apps for Windows Phone 8 and later versions.
Once you’ve chosen a language, enter the following info.
This is the name of your in-app product that users of your app will see. Write the title in the language you’ve selected in Languages. If you’ve selected multiple languages, you’ll need to provide a title for the selected language, complete Step 2, and repeat it for each language.
Since you own the user experience for browsing in-app products, a description is optional. If you choose to provide a description, remember to write it in the language you’ve selected in Languages. If you’ve selected multiple languages, you’ll need to provide a description for the selected language, complete Step 2, and repeat this step for each language.
Upload a tile that will represent your in-app product. This is the image that appears on the phone’s purchase screen when the user buys the product. Just like the app tile, the in-app product tile must be 300px by 300px.
Once you've finished your in-app product’s description and you're satisfied with your changes, click Save. If your submission is successful, you'll be sent back to the Submit In-app Product page. Click Submit.
You're all done! In the Successful Submission page, you’ll have the option to Submit another in-app product, Return to the Lifecycle page, or Return to the Dashboard.
