Save Change Script Dialog Box

This dialog box shows the SQL script for the changes you have made since you last saved the table. It also allows you to save the script to a text file at a location you choose.

If you save the script to a text file and later execute it, you should review the script in detail, as there is no error-handling facility for undoing any data loss that occurs.

You can access this dialog box after you have made unsaved changes to a table in Table Designer. On the Table Designer menu, click Generate Change Script.

The dialog boxes and menu commands you see might differ from those described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.
