NsRemoveLockMnSurpriseRemove rule (wdm)

The NsRemoveLockMnSurpriseRemove rule specifies that a driver does not return STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED when the driver is processing an IRP_MJ_PNP with MinorFunction IRP_MN_SUPRISE_REMOVAL request. This rule only applies to FDO and FIDO drivers

How to test

At compile time

Run Static Driver Verifier and specify the NsRemoveLockMnSurpriseRemove rule.

Use the following steps to run an analysis of your code:
  1. Prepare your code (use role type declarations).
  2. Run Static Driver Verifier.
  3. View and analyze the results.
