3.1.4.1 Client Displays a Message

When a client displays an Email object or a Calendar object, it SHOULD check the values of the known entity properties specified in section 2.2.2.1 through section 2.2.2.7 on that object for the presence of known entities. If a property is not present on the object, the client treats that object as having no known entities of the corresponding type.

The presence or absence of known entities is used in the evaluation of rules that use the ItemHasKnownEntity complex type for displaying mail add-ins, as specified in [MS-OWEMXML]. The relationship of the properties and the types of known entities are specified in the following table. The known entity types are specified in [MS-OWEMXML].
