Contribution Bracket Lines Window

Specifies contribution bracket definitions that are used to satisfy social security withholding tax contributions for purchases from vendors.

Contribution brackets define the divisions at which social security rates change in a progressive tax system. When you set up a contribution bracket for social security, you define the cutoff limits. These are the limits at which a percentage of the withholding tax will change.

Additional Information

In Italy, businesses must withhold social security taxes from payments to certain types of independent contractors or consultants. You are required by law to withhold a predetermined percent of the total social security taxes due and remit the amount to the Instituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (INPS). The vendor is responsible for paying the remaining social security tax liability.
