Trial Balance, Spread Global Dimension Report

Shows the chart of accounts with balances or net changes, with each department in a separate column. This report can be used at the close of an accounting period or fiscal year.

For this report to generate, you must select a date filter and choose one report amount from the options.

If you do not enter a department filter, this report will generate a column for all of the defined departments.

Options

Field Description

Select Global Dimension

Select to include global dimensions.

Select Report Amount

Select which amount to report in each column for the individual department in that column.

Select Actual Change to print actual amounts entered during the period defined by the date filter.

Select Budget Change to print budgeted amounts entered through the defined period.

Select Last Year Change to print the actual amounts entered during the period one year before the defined period.

Select Actual Balance to print actual amounts entered through the period defined by the date filter.

Select Budget Balance to print budgeted amounts entered through the defined period.

Select Last Year Balance to print to the actual amounts entered through the period one year before the defined period.

Round to

Select if you want the results in the report to be rounded to the nearest penny (hundredth of a unit), dollar (unit), or thousand dollars (units). The results are in U.S. dollars, unless Use Additional Reporting Currency is selected.

Skip Accounts with all zero Amounts

Select if you do not want to include accounts that have all zeros in the report. Otherwise, these accounts are included. (Heading accounts and total accounts are always included.)

Use Additional Reporting Currency

Select to print actual amounts using the additional reporting currency. If this field is not selected, all actual amounts will be printed in U.S. dollars.

Print to Excel

Select if you want to export the data to an Excel spreadsheet for additional analysis or formatting before printing. When printing to Excel column limits are removed.
