HttpRequestMessageExtensions.CreateContent Method (HttpRequestMessage, Type, Object)

Creates a new ObjectContent instance associated with the given HttpRequestMessage.

Assembly:  System.Net.Http.Formatting (in System.Net.Http.Formatting.dll)

	this HttpRequestMessage request,
	Type type,
	Object value
)

Parameters

request
Type: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestMessage
The existing HttpRequestMessage
type
Type: System.Type
The type of the value.
value
Type: System.Object
The value for the new ObjectContent

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HttpRequestMessage. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
